"You can´t remember?" Sabine asks knowingly, able to read his thoughts but stopping from going further than as to know that, sometimes she couldn´t help it, and the notions and ideas came to her mind.
"I am sorry, I am been rude, my name is Sabine. It is a pleasure to meet you." She bows her head.
"A pleasure to meet you," she says with a soft smile. "I´ve heard of your deeds around the world... they are very interesting. The stories at least, I assume living them must give you an entire differnt perspective of it, of course."
She looks at him reading he can´t remember and isn´t able not to focus a bit more, able to see battles, ancient battles and she shakes her head. Curiousity never lead anywhere good.
"Are you still working for the church Mr. Van Helsing?"
She nodded at his explanation, she knew that too. She just sometimes didn´t find the correct words to express herself.
"I might be," she considered outloud. "I do not think they do know about me though." She smiled softly. "I do not think they would aprove of my existence either." She said quietly.
"I would ask of you, not to mention me to them." She looked up at him, her eyes meeting his. "I´ve heard you can sense evil, I know you can sense I am not. Despite whatever you might come to find out of me, if anything at all."
"Too long a story, I never retell it unless it is absolutly necessary or that I feel ´safe´ with the one I am talking to." She sighed softly not feeling too safe talking to this man now, even though she knew he couldn´t hurt her.
"Couldn´t you trust your insticts with me? Instead of having to know?" She asked. "I might be able to tell you things you don´t remember, things that are buried deep in your mind. I thought you might be interested in that. Try let me help..."
"I understand, some do want to know about their past, and others rather discover it by themselves. Still, when I feel I can help, I ask." She explained with a soft spoken voice and looked into his eyes again.
"Would you like to go have a drink? And perhaps talk about whatever comes to mind?" She asks. "I have to admit, I would love to hear some of the stories from your point of view, but I also understand you might rather not talk about them. So perhaps we could end up talking about the weather, and that would be alright too." She smiled reassuringly, she wouldn´t ask him constantly about the many stories she have heard.
"I will, and it was a pleasure as well," she says as she watches him go before she continues her way along the dark street.

"Sabine? A pleasure. Van Helsing." He also bows his head - mimicking whatever greeting is offered, as he hasn't a clue of most ppl's customs.

"What do you mean by ´watching´? I do not think you should be ´watching´ me." She said puzzled as to what he really meant.

He's not annoyed; he just likes the facts to be in order.
"Watching. Are you someone the Order might ask me to keep an eye on?"

"Or, you could tell me and I won't have to find out from someone else," he says plainly.

Why does everyone want to help me with that anyway?
