~ bath time ~ (( Milliways ))
Van Helsing leads the slightly-chocolatey Beowulf upstairs and to his room - the dog is in need of a bathing. He drops his hat and coat onto the bed and points toward the bathroom. Beowulf, wanting no part of this, attempts to crawl under the bed.
"Go."
Beowulf retreats from the bed and walks into the bathroom, head and tail down.
Much in the way of water sloshing and growling and holding the dog down...
followed by much shaking and spraying of water... everywhere.
Van Helsing glares at the wolfhound and pushes his hair away from his face. Dammit. He dries the dog as best he can, then lets him out into the main room.
Beowulf happily jumps on the bed and rolls in the blankets.
Van Helsing glares, again, at the dog and points to the floor. The dog obeys and jumps off the bed. Van Helsing, mostly, stands in the middle of the room and drips - he's soaked from head to toe.
Beowulf tilts his head, walks to the door and scratches at it.
"Oh, no. Not all wet, you're not."
Beowulf lowers his head and looks up at Van Helsing with sad puppy eyes.
Van Helsing sighs. "You too, huh? Between you and Rose, I'll have no resolve left. I need to find dry clothes anyway." He tugs off the leather vest and is left in a grey turtleneck sweater, pants and boots. "Let's go." He opens the door to go down to the bar.
