Michael is sitting on the floor, in front of the fireplace. What is he doing beyond that? Knitting? Reading? Picking at the rug? He could be doing anything, really.

"You've been quiet lately."
no subject
His eyes shift out of focus as he stares at the fire.

"No. It's nothing." He kisses the top of Stephen's head. "I... maybe I sometimes wonder what would've happened had you not shown up in Toronto when you did."
no subject
"But I always show up, beloved. It's what I've always done."
no subject
"I know. I meant specifically when you showed up. If you'd been a day later... an hour... a minute..."
Yes, Michael thinks too much when he's not otherwise engaged.
no subject
"That's another part of what I've always done, beloved."

He blinks.
"Though I might now."

But it's said with a smile.

His arms may tighten around the Stephen he's sitting with.

"S'not work. The universe is supposed to make sense...to some people anyway. It's just that logic thinks that the universe is goibng to make its sense is the problem."
no subject
He closes his eyes and leans his cheek against Stephen's head.
"I keep feeling like something wants me to go back. I've spent hours studying the door blankly and I don't know why. I don't want to go back. There's nothing there that I want."
no subject
I do.
no subject
"No. I want them to leave me the hell alone."
no subject
He's watching, a little curious.

He looks to Luc.
"I find it funny you haven't asked me bout it, considering. Or is it one of those 'I want to find out for myself' things?"
no subject
"Trying to figure it out on my own first. Contrary to popular belief, I can get to the bottom of things all by m'self." He twitches a grin at Raz. "I'd've gotten around to asking you eventually." He looks at Raz. "I don't come to you with all of my problems." There's another kiss after that one.
no subject
"No, but you should. I solve the problems and then you beat them heavily with blunt and or sharp objects while I hide behind you like the scared mouse of an angel that I am, beloved. It really works best that way if you remember."
no subject
no subject
"Of course, beloved. I think I should expire if you were dependent on me."
no subject

He smiles; he kisses him; he holds him close; he whispers, "I love you."

And he's just leaning back, arching to the touches and allowing Luc access to him should he feel the need to add more.
"Though I will pay them a visit sometime soon. "Holy Order" indeed."
no subject
no subject
He smiles at Luc and kisses him onces more.
"It's good to know he went where he was expecting to go."
no subject
Luc's hands might be sliding down Stephen's chest, curling around his hips.
"DeClerque's going to hell whether he wants it or not. And not happy shiny hell either. He gets to live with Judas."
Believe it or not, he's holding back.
no subject
He doesn't like the idea. He doesn't like the idea in general.
no subject
Oh, he's well aware that his analogies suck; he just doesn't care.
He actually growls. "There is no greater betrayal than what he did to me. Nothing worse than that."
no subject
It was the problem with knowing.
"And the part that is entirely Stephen wishes to rip his dick off and stuff it in his ear."
no subject
Eyes closed again, he takes a deep breath and his arms tighten around Stephen.
"I know..." and his voice catches, because if he says more there will either be fiery anger to rival hell itself or tears and he doesn't want either.
no subject
no subject
He really did think it was funny... but he got smacked with evil memories first.
no subject
no subject
"That's just absurd."
no subject
He smiles and leans up to kiss Luc on the lips.
"And it made you smile."
no subject
no subject
"Certainly. Perhaps more kisses and a few groping attempts at my slacks and I shall do my best to retaliate, but you are a ravishingly handsome man, Luc. I might just have to let you do what you like with me."
He's grinning. Beaming.
no subject
Perhaps he is attempting the preliminaries of such just now... wandering hands and all.
