Kronos shrugs, "I didn't ask, but there were a couple in the bar that looked pretty banged up, and I would assume there's more that aren't able to be in the bar at all from the mess down there."
"You've told me that you chase evil, and last night you proceeded to go all wolfy and wreck the bar and a several people in the process, which a lot of people might think is evil. Therefore my question is this: Do you have to start chasing your own tail now?"
"Yes, we have met - only I used to have horns and stuff. I'm Gil from the kitchen. And last night you didn't hurt me in the slightest, never fear."
Actually, Gil got away without even a bruise having gone pretty boneless when he fainted.
"I've brought some bouillon in a mug, that'll be easier for you than a bowl and spoon and there's a selection of sandwiches, juice and coffee in a thermos," Gil smiles sypathetically. "I'm sure you hate being stuck in bed. Would you like me to try to find you something to read/"
He looks at the arrangement of food. "Thank you. Though I don't think anyone owes me anything." He tries not to look overly guilty, considering if Natalie's around when he does it, she'll yell at him.
'Something to read?' "That... that would be nice, thank you."
He actually didn't really lie all that much, he's mostly not-dressed; however, he *is* very much covered in bandages and whatever it is that Natalie found to stuff him into.
"Uh-huh." Faith walks up closer, examining him. "I smacked you in the nose. And pulled your ear. And hit you over the head with the hilt of a knife. Sorry about that."
"Don't worry about it, I popped it back into place, no big."
Faith shakes her head. "No, that wasn't me. Nick was asking us not to hurt you too bad, so I didn't use a knife. Well, not for stabbing purposes. That was..." She pauses, hesitant, but figures it's better to hear it from a friend. "That was the guy you bit."
He absorbs all of that for a moment. Kind of a long moment. It probably gets a little uncomfortable for Faith.
Then he looks at her, his face deadly serious. "Faith, I need you to do something, then."
He doesn't really wait for her to give him an 'okay'.
"Beowulf is sitting over my bag... in the corner over there." He points. "There's a box, it has more of the antidote that Natalie administered last night. Take a vial of it and give it to someone who will be close to whoever it was." A small pause. "And, Faith, it must be given to him before midnight of the first night of the full moon during the next cycle."
"I don't know him," Faith says quietly. "I don't know who he..." Pause. "He was behind the bar. He must work here...I'll find him." She nods. "I'll take care of it."
A longer pause, and then, "It's not your fault. I know you probably think it is, but it's not."
"If you want. Just wait 'til I can watch." He laughs - just a little.
Then he takes a good look at her. "So, if I just dislocated your shoulder, why do you look like hell?" He's kinda sorry for that, but Faith can deal with the bluntness of it.
"Nightmares. To be specific, prophetic dreams," Faith says, shrugging. "Nine hours of sleep, barely, over the past week, and eight of that in one night."

"You look like shit."

Then he frowns. "Why did you come up here?" Kronos never wants to talk to him.

And having done what he came to do, he heads out the door and back to his room.

"Hello, Mr Van Helsing?" he calls.

And since he has no special powers to see who's on the other side, nor the ability to get up... he gets to be a little more trusting than usual.

"Oh, sir," he says, approaching the bed. "I'm glad to see you looking more yourself."
He puts the tray beside the table. "Not sure if you're hungry but I've brought up a light meal for you just in case."

Why be subtle? This way's easier.

"Thank you."

So instead he smiles, bobs his head in a little bow and leaves the room closing the door quietly behind him.

It probably doesn't sound nearly as jovial as he'd intended, but hey, what's he got to be jovial about? He just trashed the freakin' bar.

She comes in, closing the door behind her. "How you holdin' up?"
no subject
"Yeah, gotta tease someone." Flat flat flat.
"Oh, you know me. Never better."

"I'm sorry. Did you slide the knife into my arm too?"
Because that smarts quite a lot.
