Milli - post werewolf recovery

Van Helsing is in Natalie Lambert's room - resting and recovering.

He's okay for people to come visit.

Kronos pokes his head into the room, not bothering with pesky little things like knocking, and then steps inside and looks at Van Helsing.

"You look like shit."

[identity profile] angryadolescent.livejournal.com 2005-03-05 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
"I hear there are people that look worse."

[identity profile] angryadolescent.livejournal.com 2005-03-05 09:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Kronos shrugs, "I didn't ask, but there were a couple in the bar that looked pretty banged up, and I would assume there's more that aren't able to be in the bar at all from the mess down there."

[identity profile] angryadolescent.livejournal.com 2005-03-05 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
"Actually I was curious about something, and wanted to ask you a question."

[identity profile] angryadolescent.livejournal.com 2005-03-05 10:12 pm (UTC)(link)
"You've told me that you chase evil, and last night you proceeded to go all wolfy and wreck the bar and a several people in the process, which a lot of people might think is evil. Therefore my question is this: Do you have to start chasing your own tail now?"

[identity profile] angryadolescent.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 01:14 am (UTC)(link)
Kronos smirks, "I'll take that as a no. Pity, it would have been interesting to watch."

[identity profile] angryadolescent.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
"You do that."

And having done what he came to do, he heads out the door and back to his room.

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2005-03-05 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
Gil taps on the door very gently, balancing a tray on his other arm.

"Hello, Mr Van Helsing?" he calls.

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:02 am (UTC)(link)
Opening the door, Gil edges through warily but when he sees Mr Van Helsing he smiles.

"Oh, sir," he says, approaching the bed. "I'm glad to see you looking more yourself."

He puts the tray beside the table. "Not sure if you're hungry but I've brought up a light meal for you just in case."

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
"Yes, we have met - only I used to have horns and stuff. I'm Gil from the kitchen. And last night you didn't hurt me in the slightest, never fear."

Actually, Gil got away without even a bruise having gone pretty boneless when he fainted.

"I've brought some bouillon in a mug, that'll be easier for you than a bowl and spoon and there's a selection of sandwiches, juice and coffee in a thermos," Gil smiles sypathetically. "I'm sure you hate being stuck in bed. Would you like me to try to find you something to read/"

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Gil smiles and goes to the door. "I'll see what the Bar can provide. Any special requests? Newspapers, magazines, novels?"

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
Gil laughs too. "No, sir, nothing like that. I'll ask her to recommend something - her taste is usually pretty good."

He opens the door. "I'll bring it up later, sir, when I come to get the tray. Bye for now."

[identity profile] gil-whimple.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
Gil desperately wants to say something reassuring but suspects that Mr Van Helsing knows rather more about the situation than he does.

So instead he smiles, bobs his head in a little bow and leaves the room closing the door quietly behind him.

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
Faith knocks on the door, suppressing a yawn. "Hey, 's Faith. You decent? 'Cause if you aren, I can come back."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:42 am (UTC)(link)
Faith pokes her head in, looking hopeful, then sighs woefully when she sees him. "Toy with me, why don't you?"

She comes in, closing the door behind her. "How you holdin' up?"

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:49 am (UTC)(link)
"Uh-huh." Faith walks up closer, examining him. "I smacked you in the nose. And pulled your ear. And hit you over the head with the hilt of a knife. Sorry about that."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
"Hey, you dislocated my shoulder," Faith says, shrugging slightly. "the nose thing seemed a pretty minor response."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 12:59 am (UTC)(link)
"Don't worry about it, I popped it back into place, no big."

Faith shakes her head. "No, that wasn't me. Nick was asking us not to hurt you too bad, so I didn't use a knife. Well, not for stabbing purposes. That was..." She pauses, hesitant, but figures it's better to hear it from a friend. "That was the guy you bit."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 01:10 am (UTC)(link)
"I don't know him," Faith says quietly. "I don't know who he..." Pause. "He was behind the bar. He must work here...I'll find him." She nods. "I'll take care of it."

A longer pause, and then, "It's not your fault. I know you probably think it is, but it's not."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
"He said that? You want me to smack him around?" Faith is not amused. "'Cuz I will."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Nightmares. To be specific, prophetic dreams," Faith says, shrugging. "Nine hours of sleep, barely, over the past week, and eight of that in one night."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 01:28 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh no. Dozens of nightmares. Very bad." Faith sighs. "Something nasty is coming and I don't know what yet."

[identity profile] faithful-slayer.livejournal.com 2005-03-06 01:37 am (UTC)(link)
"No. They didn't." Faith smiles wryly. "Sorry, hon, looks like the Powers don't consider you too big a threat."
